1. Introduction
Welcome to RadioLog Pro. Your privacy and data security are our highest priorities. This Privacy Policy outlines what information is collected, how it is used, and how it is protected. The core philosophy of this application is offline-first privacy: your operational logs are stored locally on your device in a secure SQLite database and are never uploaded to our servers.
2. Information We Collect and Process
Depending on your usage of features, the App processes the following categories of information:
Logbook & Profile Data: All of the Logs data remains strictly local on your devices, unless third party integrations are used (More about it in "Third-Party Integration Credentials").
Location Information: When granted, the App accesses coarse/fine location strictly on-device to calculate and suggest your Maidenhead Grid Square (e.g., FN31pr). Your physical GPS coordinates are never transmitted to our servers or third parties.
Customer Support Communications: When you contact our support team through the in-app "Contact Support" form or via email, we collect the information you provide (such as your contact email address, message subject, and detailed message body). To assist in diagnosing technical issues and providing accurate support, basic diagnostic metadata (including app version, Android OS version, and device hardware model) may be automatically included with your submission.
3. Third-Party Integration Credentials
If you choose to configure the QRZ.com XML lookup service, your credentials are saved locally in encrypted app storage and used exclusively to authenticate direct HTTPS requests with this service.
4. Callbook Lookups
When searching or logging a callsign, the App queries the QRZ.com database to auto-populate operator details. These requests are subject to the privacy policies of QRZ.com.
5. DX Cluster
The App connects to public DX Cluster servers to display real-time spots. No personal data other than user-initiated spot submissions (callsign and frequency) is shared.
6. In-App Support Delivery
When you submit a support message via the in-app Contact Support interface, your message, reply email address, and diagnostic info are securely transmitted via the Resend API directly to our support inbox (radiologpro.support@gmail.com). No public or unencrypted message logs are created.
7. Google Play Billing
In-app purchases and Pro subscriptions are securely processed by Google Play. We never receive or store your credit card, banking, or billing details.
8. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal information or QSO logs to any third parties or advertisers. Information is only transferred when explicitly requested by you, or required by law, valid legal process, or regulatory amateur radio compliance.
9. User Control
Because all logs are stored on your local device, you retain 100% control over your data. You can edit or delete individual QSOs or entire log profiles directly in the app, erase all application data through the "Reset Database" option, and export full ADIF/CSV files.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new features or regulatory requirements. Any updates will be published directly within the App.
